Job Advert: Head of Paid Media

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum (plus benefits)

Location: Deep in the Wiltshire countryside, with easy commutes from Bath, Bristol, Cheltenham, Gloucester, and Oxford

Work Arrangement: Hybrid - 2 days a week in the office, the rest from home

We’re on the lookout for a strategic and passionate Head of Paid Media to join a leading digital marketing agency nestled in the heart of the Wiltshire countryside.

About the Role

This is an opportunity to lead a talented team of paid media professionals in devising and implementing comprehensive digital strategies across a diverse client base. Your expertise will shape campaigns that span multiple platforms, ensuring they meet and exceed client expectations. You'll be working closely with senior leadership to innovate, optimise, and deliver outstanding results that keep the agency at the forefront of the digital landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy Development: Lead the creation and execution of integrated Paid and Organic media strategies that align with client goals.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a dedicated team, providing training, setting goals, and overseeing performance to ensure excellence.
  • Client Interaction: Work collaboratively with the Client Services team to develop strong commercial strategies for each client, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Performance Optimization: Use your analytical skills to continuously optimise campaigns, making data-driven decisions to enhance performance across various paid media channels.
  • Innovation & Best Practices: Stay ahead of industry trends, adopting new tools and techniques to ensure the agency remains a leader in digital marketing.

About You

  • Experience: Proven track record in paid media management, particularly across Meta, Google Ads, and e-commerce platforms like Shopify and WooCommerce.
  • Leadership: Strong experience in leading teams, with the ability to inspire and guide professionals to achieve their best.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficient in using analytics tools to drive performance and strategy decisions.
  • Communication: Excellent communicator, capable of working with cross-functional teams and presenting insights to stakeholders.
